The mission of ClearView Communities, LLC is to create a superior residential experience for persons with severe mental illness and co-occurring disorders. We offer a unique and comprehensive program for adults with mental illness who are seeking recovery and independent living in the community.

Our Story
We truly believe that through personalized treatment, community involvement and a desire to succeed, recovery from mental illness IS possible. Founded by Baltimore native Sylvan C. Herman and opened in 2011, ClearView Communities is a non-profit organization that has quickly built a reputation as a premier mental health program for adults with severe and persistent mental illness. Our intimate size and high staff-to-resident ratio allow us to offer a uniquely individualized approach to care. Our well-appointed residences are warm, inviting homes that create a comfortable, fostering environment for healing, growth and preparation for real life.

Frederick, Maryland, is an idyllic location for psychiatric rehabilitation.
